According to official news, Juventus has no visa to 25-year-old Canadian striker Jonathan David, signed for five years to June 30, 2030.

We hereby announce that Jonathan David officially joins Juventus!

The 200-year Canadian striker signed a contract with Juventus until June 30, 2030. Juventus will bear the additional fee for a total of €12.5 million player registration, which will be paid in three fiscal years.

Jonathan David was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA. His parents were Haitian. After moving to Ottawa, Canada, his football career began with the local Gloucester Hornets and Ottawa International Club. At the age of 17, he went to Europe to join Belgian team Ghent, and made his career debut in August 2018 and scored a goal. In his first two professional seasons, he played for the team, contributed 37 goals and 15 assists, and won the Belgian League Golden Boot in the 2019/20 season.

In the summer of 2020, David transferred to Lille, France and performed well in the past five seasons - scoring 87 goals in 178 games for the team, contributing 109 goals and 30 assists in 232 games in all competitions. He helped the team win the Ligue 1 championship in the 2020/21 season and won the French Super Cup the following year.

At the national team level, David played for the Canadian national team for the first time in September 2018 and scored twice. He has played for the national team 66 games and scored 35 goals so far. He has previously played for youth national teams of all levels.

Canadian forward Jonathan David is 25 years old. He played 49 games for Lille last season, scoring 25 goals and sending 12 assists.

David debuted at Ottawa ISC youth training in Canada. He joined the U21 team in Ghent, Belgium in 2018 and was promoted to the first team of Ghent in July of the same year. In 2020, David joined Lille from Ghent, with a transfer fee of 27 million euros.
