Early this morning, Slavia Prague lost 0-3 to Arsenal in the Champions League. After the game, the team's midfielder Lucas Provod accepted an interview with UEFA's official media.
Provod said: "We knew this was going to be a very difficult game, but we performed well at the beginning. Our defense was very good, but after the opponent opened the scoring, Arsenal's offense became much easier."
"In the second half, we tried to play more threatening and aggressive. It's a strategy, but Arsenal are really good and they show that every week in every game. But I think we did our best and gave our best effort."
"I'm proud of my teammates because many of them are playing in the Champions League for the first time and this is a valuable experience for them."
