RMC: Mbappe called the referee a bastard in French during the 2-2 Elche match and may be subject to additional penalties

According to French media RMC, during Real Madrid's 2-2 draw with Elche, Mbappe was only shown a yellow card due to strong protest due to dissatisfaction with the result of the game. But if the disciplinary committee intervenes in the matter, Mbappe may face more severe punishment.

According to footage broadcast by Spanish DAZN on Monday, Mbappe completely collapsed after this extremely frustrating game for Real Madrid. There were several controversial penalties in the game. Mbappe went to the referee to seek an explanation but was unable to do so and ended up insulting the referee.

As dissatisfaction with the game increased, Mbappé blurted out "Sale con, va!" (Dirty bastard, get out!) twice in French in the footage broadcast by DAZN. However, because it was in French, the referee may not have heard or understood what he meant.

On the way back to the locker room, Mbappe was stopped by an Elche player, but he pushed the opponent away with a relatively large movement and continued to shout "Arrête" (stop) to his opponent. He then shouted "Sale con, va!" into the air a third time, likely directed at the referee who had just gotten into the altercation.

Before DAZN broadcast Mbappe’s angry scene, another broadcast company Movistar+ also captured the France international’s frustration through camera footage.

Mbappe has been photographed many times directing his teammates on the court, especially calling Bellingham and Vinicius to press hard and promote the offense at the last moment of the game, striving to score a 3-2 winning goal.

When an Elche player lay on the court for a long time, Mbappe said angrily to the referee: "Enough, we have wasted too much time, if he can't continue the game, let him off the field! Come on, please, let us continue the game!"

Compared with Mbappe's insults to the referee, these words are not that serious, but his insulting remarks may cause him to encounter sports-level penalties.
