Messi was interviewed by the media and talked about his views on family. Messi believes that although he often moves because of playing football, family is always the part that he cares about the most.
Question: While researching your story, I saw that first you left Argentina and had to live in Barcelona, then you lived in Paris, and now you live in the United States. You spend most of your life moving. I'm just curious, how does this make you view your family? Is family the most important part of your life?
Messi: Yes, absolutely. From a young age, everything I learned at home, the values my parents taught me, and the way we were raised, has always been connected and united with my family.
From the beginning, like you said, we had to go to Barcelona, alone, and start from scratch, because it was a new country and we didn't know anyone or anything there.
Well, after that, I carried those values with me into the rest of my life, with my wife and my children. My children are also Spanish because they were born in Barcelona, all three of them.
Then we went to Paris and now to the United States, but in every place we go, we know how to adapt and enjoy ourselves, absorbing the good and positive things from each place and growing as individuals and as professionals. I think every step we take helps us learn and become better.
