Current Hull City coach Sergei Jakirovic recently accepted an interview with "Total Market". He talked about Sucic, whom he had coached, and he believed that the latter would break out at Inter Milan and then move to Real Madrid. Jakirovic is the coach of Sucic's home team. He promoted the 18-year-old Sucic from the Zhilinski youth team to the first team.

"I expect Sucic to become the mainstay of Inter Milan in one or two seasons. My point of view is that after leaving Inter Milan, he will go to Real Madrid to play. Just like Kovacic."

The coach is not surprised by Sucic's rapid integration into Inter Milan: "He will be Integrated into the more important rotation, he is really special and it is obvious that with every goal or assist he gets a boost of confidence."

"As you know, Peta made his Champions League debut when I was coaching Zylinski. After the U19s, I invited him back to Žilinski on loan for one year, where I thought he made great progress. After I coached in Rijeka, we met again at Dinamo (Zagreb) in the 2023-24 season and we worked very well together and won the double. Wang did reach the Champions League. In my opinion, his greatest strengths are his dedication, work habits, excellent mobility and understanding of the football game. For him, it is not a business or a job, but a game."
