Bayern will face Freiburg at home in this Bundesliga highlight match. Bayern's die-hard fan group "South Stand" issued a public statement before the game.
The South Stand announced that it would remain silent for the first 12 minutes of today's game in protest against a series of proposals put forward by the German Interior Ministers' meeting. The proposals include the introduction of one-person-one-vote identity ties, the use of facial recognition technology and the establishment of a national stadium banning committee to crack down on violators.
Fabian Stamberger, representative of the South Stand, said: "We will use the opening twelve minutes of silence to show what it means for the fan culture to be destroyed. These twelve minutes will be a silent protest."
