At 2:45 a.m. on October 15, Italy will face Israel at home in the World Cup European Qualifiers. Due to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, many people called on Italy not to participate in this match against Israel, but the Italian Football Association has confirmed that it will participate. However, in order to reduce the controversy, the Italian Football Association also took some measures at the same time.

ANSA revealed that the Italian Football Association provides financial support to the UEFA Children's Foundation, which is helping Gazan children through some non-governmental organizations and alleviating the suffering of children in the war. The Italian Football Federation will help Doctors Without Borders set up emergency medical facilities in Gaza and the West Bank and distribute food packages to children. Support will also be provided to Disability and Inclusion International by providing first aid kits and providing psychological support, emergency assistance and rehabilitation to severely wounded and disabled people in war.

Gravina, President of the Italian Football Association, said: "We are deeply saddened by the situation in Gaza and hope to express our concern and support for Palestinian children through practical actions." President Gravina also said that the Italian Football Association will also carry out humanitarian projects in other war areas and cannot turn a blind eye to the suffering of innocent people.
