35-year-old striker Portillo joined the Spanish Second Division Huesca Club, and "Marca" called him an upgrade expert in the Spanish Second Division.

Huesca Club signed the 15th new player this summer - forward veteran Portillo. Portillo, 35, terminated his contract with Real Oviedo this summer and is now free to join Huesca and signed for one year.

Portillo can be competent for the left and right wingers, or play as a front midfielder. In the past, Portillo played for five teams, Betis, Getafe, Almeria, Leganes and Real Oviedo, all of them were promoted from the Spanish Second Division to La Liga with the team and were called the Spanish Second Division upgrade expert. Huesca won 8th place in the Spanish Second Division last season (3rd to 6th place in the upgrade play-offs). This time, he signed Portillo, hoping to bring good luck to Huesca.

Last season, Portillo made 24 appearances for Real Oviedo, scoring 2 goals and assisting 1. In the final of the Spanish Second Division upgrade play-off last season, it was Portillo who scored the winning goal in the 103rd minute of overtime, helping Real Oviedo defeat Milandes and finally successfully upgraded.
