According to US media TMZ, a Los Angeles Lakers fan is suing LeBron James, accusing the NBA superstar of defrauding him in "Decision 2" and causing him to lose hundreds of dollars.
Andrew Garcia, a 29-year-old lifelong Lakers fan, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Small Claims Court on Wednesday, claiming that LeBron James owes him $865.66. James has reportedly hinted that he is about to announce his retirement.
Garcia told TMZ Sports that when James hinted on Monday that he had a big decision to make, he thought the "King" was referring to his impending retirement. Therefore, he hurried to Ticketmaster to buy tickets for what might be James' last game against his old team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Garcia purchased two tickets for March 31, 2026, for $432.83 each. But he said those tickets lost almost all value when LeBron revealed on Tuesday that his big decision was actually just an ad for Hennessy.
