According to blogger The Collectibles Guru, the No. 24 jersey that Kobe had worn for the first time will be auctioned at Sotheby's.

The back of this jersey has the words "First Wear No. 24" and Kobe's signature. After ten years wearing the No. 8 jersey, Kobe changed into the No. 24 jersey, which symbolizes "growth and reflects the maturity, concentration and leadership he intends to show at the next stage of his career."

According to @goatcollect, a leader in the field of game souvenirs, the jersey was sold on eBay in 2006 for only $10,000.
