Today, ESPN Warriors' record Anthony Slater was a guest on the NBA ON ESPN program, and during this period he talked about Kumingga who returned to the Warriors.

Slater revealed: "Cummingga received a three-year, $75 million offer contract, with the third year including team options. This means he can get about $25 million more of the guaranteed amount, but he flatly refused. As far as I learned throughout the process, part of his rejection was that he clearly expressed his refusal to be traded in the middle of the season. This is understandable. I think he does want to transfer, but he is more looking forward to joining the new team with a new stance at the start of training camp. After all, no player really likes to be traded mid-season."

According to previous reports, Cummingga returned to the Golden State Warriors with a two-year, $48.5 million contract. His first year salary is 23.8 million and his second year of 24.7 million is the team option.
