Howard’s matchup data with Yao Ming
Recently, former NBA player Howard talked about facing off against Perkins and Yao Ming on the podcast Curious Mike.
"Kendrick Perkins and I have played against each other many times in high school, and we would be tit-for-tat in every game. He always tried to anger me, and sometimes it worked, but I still insisted on following the plan, and I could handle him. But when it came to Yao Ming, it was a huge challenge. With a height of 7 feet 5 inches (2.26) and accurate jump shots and turnaround shots, I was almost unstoppable." Howard said.
