Today's American Record Brett Siegel wrote an article about the situation in Porzingis this summer.
Siegel wrote: "The source said that among the three complementary stars Porzingis, Holiday and White, the Latvian big man is considered the most likely person to be traded in the offseason. As his contract is in its final year, the Celtics don't necessarily need to add some additional assets to get rid of their contracts. Not to mention that there are also teams in the Western Conference exploring the possibility of chasing the center."
"The Golden State Warriors have been seen as his potential next home long before Porzingis joined the Boston Celtics in 2023. It's no secret that the Warriors seek to fight in the frontcourt. Since Porzingis doesn't have any long-term financial restrictions, he can fill the gap outside Curry and Butler immediately. This fit makes sense, but Porzingis's health is the most concerned issue for many teams at the moment," Siegel added.
Pozin's contract is still one year away from expiration, with a salary of $30.73 million next season.
